Save Money on Your Commute with Doane Family Enterprises Commuter Benefits! ​Here's how you can save on getting to and from work:​TRANSIT ACCOUNTS​Set aside money from your paycheck before taxes to pay for commuting with public transportation.You'll receive a debit card to use for eligible expenses.You can use the card for trains, buses, subways, ferries, vanpools, and even Lyft Shared rides (but not Uber Pool).The most you can set aside each month is $300.Any unused money rolls over to the next year, so you won't lose it.Important: If you leave Doane Family Enterprises, the debit card will stop working, and any remaining money will be forfeited.PARKING ACCOUNTS​Set aside pre-tax money to pay for work parking.You can use the provided debit card or submit claims for reimbursement if you pay out of pocket.You can pay for parking at work, near work, or near a public transit stop you use to commute.Remember to keep receipts showing the date, service provider, type of service, and amount charged (simple receipts or checks won't work).The most you can set aside each month is $300.Any unused money rolls over to the next year, so you won't lose it.Important: If you leave Doane Family Enterprises, the debit card will stop working. You can still submit claims for parking charges from when you were employed, but you only have 60 days after your termination date. Any remaining funds will be forfeited after 60 days.

for their members at other providers so use the card everywhere and if not a participating provider, AblePay will try and 
contract with them.

College Tuition Benefit

Employees can earn SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards Points to help offset the financial burden of a four-year undergraduate degree at over 400 SAGE Scholars network colleges and universities. Employees can sponsor immediate or extended family, including children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and godchildren.

One Tuition Rewards Point is equal to a $1 guaranteed minimum discount off the full price of tuition. Employees can earn 
2,000 points when you sign up, and students receive 500 Student Tuition Rewards Points when registered. Employees 
can earn 2,000 points each year and an additional 2,500 points in year four.

Important things to know:

Tuition Rewards points are discounts off of tuition and not awarded in cash.
There is no limit on the number of students a subscriber can register or the number of Rewards Points that can be accrued.
Students must be registered for the College Tuition Benefit by August 31st of the year the student begins 12th grade.
The last day for pledging earned Tuition Rewards Point to a student is August 31st of the year the student begins 12th grade. August 31st is also the last day for a student to earn any Student Tuition Rewards Points from any source.
